Bennett Quillen joined Harper McNeil, Inc. in January
2005 with over 30 years of direct, “hands on”
experience. Bennett has previously been a management
consultant from 1998 to present providing consulting
services to community, regional and money center banks
along with credit unions both domestically and overseas.
Before
1998, Bennett has held positions ranging from Executive
Vice President – Operations to Chief Information Officer
in multi bank holding companies. He directed an average
staff size of 200 in information systems, back office
operations, conversions, and administration.
Most
recently, Bennett has performed the function of interim
director of information technology and operations for a
$5 billion regional bank. The role included an
evaluation of the bank’s technology plan, resources,
organization and required actions. He resolved several
internal issues, including user systems priorities, lack
of planning, and network deficiencies. Solutions
required a major restructuring at all levels and an ROI
assessment. These actions, coupled with attention to
project management, produced immediate results with over
a dozen major projects completed in a short time frame.
Bennett’s analytical skills and high level technology
exposure adds depth to the Harper McNeil, Inc. roster.

January 2001, bringing over 18 years of banking and
systems experience to our Company. Lisa specializes in
deposit and finance applications in a variety of

the Harper McNeil team.
Prior to joining HMC, Lisa worked as a self-employed
consultant for over a year, serving community banks
across Virginia and the Carolinas, focusing on “pre and
post” conversion management and training development.
Lisa comments, “Working as a consultant on my own,
taught me more about defining and achieving customer
satisfaction, than all my previous experiences put
together.”
Before her career as a consultant, Lisa developed and
fine-tuned information technology and project management
skills as an officer and employee with Main Street
Financial Corporation, a multi-state, regional banking
concern based in Martinsville, Virginia. Lisa planned,
scheduled and coordinated numerous financial application
conversions for new institutions joining the Main Street
family during it’s period of explosive growth during the
1990’s, through and including it’s ultimate acquisition
by Branch Banking & Trust Company in 1999. Prior to
becoming an officer, Lisa served in various management
and staff capacities with Main Street Financial, it’s
predecessors and also with Society Bank of Ohio
(formerly Third National Bank based in Dayton).
Lisa’s quality-driven approach, extensive background,
and well-developed skills make her ideal for helping to
bring “sensible solutions to community and regional
